Business Studies is a combination of subjects which includes marketing, finance, economics, human resource management, business ethics, operations management, business strategy and law, to list a few.

At least five GCSEs at grade C or grade 5, or above, including English and mathematics and at least a grade B or grade 6 or 7, in a relevant subject.

Employers view A-Level Business favourably because of the way it develops certain study skills, such as problem-solving. Business students find employment in a whole range of industries and professions. Specific careers for which Business is particularly useful include management, marketing, accounting, local government, journalism - or even running your own business.
Universities regard A-Level Business as a good A-level in terms of entry degree courses. Many of our A-Level Business students go on to study degrees in subjects such as Economics, Law, Accounting, Marketing, Leisure and Recreation, Politics and Business Studies itself.
Business will also provide you with a broad range of experience and opportunities enabling you to progress onto a higher level qualification or training. Students often go on to professional or management training programmes in subjects such as accountancy, HR, marketing or law.
