Nichola Smith Business Administration Apprentice Summercourt AcademyNichola had always known that she wanted to work in administration and started searching for jobs, but found that she didn’t have the right office qualifications and lacked the work experience she needed to start her career.
"I looked into apprenticeships as I knew it could be the perfect stepping stone into a job that I wanted to do. It was also the perfect opportunity to gain a relevant qualification as well as gain work experience and a wage at the same time. I was delighted when the position for an administration assistant became available at the school. There is lots of room for development within my job role and there is always something new to learn.”
