Carla Fairburn Manager & Co-owner Inkfish FalmouthCarla started her hairdressing apprenticeship 15 years ago at Inkfish Truro and is now the co-owner of Inkfish Falmouth.
"Starting as an apprentice to becoming co-owner has been a great journey; it’s something I’ve always dreamt of. Being in a good salon working with a good team, with great training and being passionate about the job, I’ve grown to love it. We have apprentices in the salon now and that’s important to us and them because they gain real life experience with the customers. Watching the stylists do their jobs really helps them out, it’s faster learning and also they can earn while they learn, which is great for them being young. Getting a wage and learning at the same time, what’s not to like?”
