If you wish to pursue a career in music then we offer you the choice of four specialist courses, all of which are equivalent to A-levels. Our Level 2 course is ideal should your GCSE results not be what you expected, with the option to progress to one of our Level 3 diplomas.
If you fancy yourself as the next great DJ everyone raves about, or want to know about electronic music and how to produce it, then this course is for you. You’ll learn about sequencing, mixing, effects, recording techniques, music and sound for moving images. From day one you’ll get hands-on with samplers, hardware controllers, synthesisers and mixing desks. This is a very practical vocational course and a serious pathway to that dream career.

You are interested in electronic music and DJ production. This course from dBs Music offers you many aspects of music technology and music production, but focuses on the skills relevant to you.
Four GCSEs at grade 4, including English and mathematics.
Through a range of units and assignments, covering skills such as DJ’ing, music and electronic production, remixing, studio recording, and equipment knowledge. You'll also discover how to manage an event, how the business works, and become familiar with working industry standard software.
To work with commercial software packages such as TRAKTOR S4, Logic Studio, Pro Tools, Reason, Ableton Live, Native Instruments and Komplete.

You could go on to our DJ & Electronic Music Production HND or go on to entry-level employment in the music industry.
