Have you got what it takes to join the armed forces? Our Military Academy provides the ultimate preparation for a career in the uniformed services and is jointly supported by the Royal Navy, Army and the Royal Air Force.
We offer three options for you to start your studies in the armed forces depending on your GCSE results. Our Level 3 course offers you the choice of university study or employment on completion of your course. Our Level 2 and Level 1 courses are ideal should your GCSEs not be what you expected with the option to progress to Level 2 or Level 3.
On this Level 2 course improve your health and fitness, leadership, map and navigation skills and volunteer within the public service sector and uniformed service routine.

English and maths at Functional Skills Level 2, plus successful completion of a fitness assessment.
How to plan your public service career and improve your health and fitness, participate in competitive sports, health and hygiene in the uniformed services, develop team working and problem-solving skills, leadership, map and navigation, volunteering within the public service sector and uniformed service routine.
To gain a wide variety of skills and knowledge from a range of units related to public and military service. This programme is portfolio based therefore there are no qualifications. You will undertake practical military training and education in order to equip you with the necessary skills to enable you to make decisions on which service to apply for and to prepare you in all respects for initial selection.
Our strong industry links with the Royal Marine Commando Training Centre Lympstone and HMS Raleigh.
We also have accommodation on campus at Bicton College and Duchy College Stoke Climsland.
