This is a challenging course and it is expected that students will complete a minimum of 15 hours additional independent study each week. Students may access college facilities on the days that they are not taught with some evening study available.
Please also be advised that most universities require work experience to complement your UCAS application. It is therefore highly recommended that you find work within the health care sector in either a voluntary or paid capacity.

The course is challenging and requires full attendance and absolute commitment to allow you to fully maximise your opportunities; you will have access to a range of support mechanisms to enable you to develop the key academic competencies to contribute towards successful progression.
The course runs from September until the end of June/early July. If you choose to study this Access course at our Saltash campus, you'll be expected to attend 2 days per week. The course may also run from Saltash 2 evenings and 1 full day per week (subject to course numbers).
