Access courses are designed as a stepping stone to enable motivated, enthusiastic people to progress on to Higher Education. There is a very high level of academic and personal support throughout the course, which can help if you need to combine study with part-time employment and family commitments. This course is ideal for those who want to re-train or re-direct their lives into a land-based career in agriculture, equine or countryside management.

  What You Will Learn

The course will cover academic study in relevant subjects including biological sciences, biochemistry, business studies and research studies with options in animal science and equine studies. The course will also include a set of Study Skills that will prepare learners for higher education.

  Entry Requirements

Level 2 qualifications in English Language and Maths, preferably GCSE. Interest and experience in Land-Based vocations.

FdSc and BSc degree courses in Land-Based subject areas. Internal progression insured on successful completeion if Diploma.
