you are not yet ready to go into employment or an apprenticeship but learn much better in a practical environment and do not want to attend college full time.
ideally, students would have a C 0r 4 in English or maths. However, if you come in with grades below this then you can still apply but would be expected to continue studying English and/or maths, one day a week at Duchy College, Rosewarne.
practical horse management skills including the general care and handling of a variety of horses, as well as riding and gaining valuable experience in the industry. You will develop your employability and could leave with an industry reference. There are also opportunities to take the ABRS exams, which are a recognized industry qualification.
a good all-round experience in the industry and a high level of tuition and support from the qualified staff you will work with, as well as opportunities to further develop your skills with additional work experience prospects.
this friendly environment that allows you to pursue your passion of being around horses, whilst learning and gaining a qualification. In addition there are opportunities to take part in a range of enrichment activities such as horseback archery, natural horsemanship, classical riding and to gain competition experience as a groom.
you can choose to study from level 1 right through level 2 and up to level 3 on this same programme, which would put you in good stead to find employment in the industry upon completion.
