If you dream of working in the great outdoors and want your office to be the beach, the rolling countryside or the sea, then a career in outdoor sport is ideal for you. Our diplomas will teach you a wide range of topics giving you in-depth knowledge and understanding of the outdoor sport and active leisure sector.
We offer two options for you to start your career in outdoor sport depending on your GCSE results. Our Level 3 course offers you the choice of university study or employment on successful completion of your course. Our Level 2 course is ideal should your GCSE results not be what you expected with the option to progress to Level 3.
This course is ideal if you want to gain valuable practical experience in instructor training, alongside relevant industry awards, to improve personal skills and practical abilities in a variety of outdoor and adventurous activity.

You would like to pursue a career in the outdoor adventure industry and progress onto the level 3 qualification.
Four GCSEs at grade 3, including English and maths, plus you must be able to swim 50 metres in open water.
You will cover land- and water-based instructor training throughout the course and will learn the leadership skills to lead safe, effective and enjoyable sessions for school
groups. You will also have the opportunity to undertake a summer season placement at an outdoor centre.
