Falmouth Marine School is holding a free Community Open Day this weekend, where visitors can see its brand new buildings and take part in a number of exciting activities.

There will be an opportunity to feed piranhas, help build a boat, meet the sharks, service an engine and enjoy refreshments in our new café.

The open day takes place on Saturday 27th May, from 11am-3pm at Falmouth Marine School, Killigrew Street. This community event is open to all ages, with various interactive, engaging activities to take part in.  Course information on boatbuilding, marine biology, marine engineering and watersports will also be available from our expert lecturers for those interested in pursuing a career in marine studies.

Justin Olosunde, Head of Falmouth Marine School commented: “Exciting times lie ahead for Falmouth Marine School. This recent redevelopment has resulted in an accessible, efficient and effective campus and we want our local community to come and be part of it.”
