Students at a local college have been fully immersed in life at the campus, as the student union held its annual fresher’s fair.
Cornwall College Saltash gave students the opportunity to take part in various activities including laser tag and air graffiti.
Several exhibitors were present to speak to students and distribute information including Better Leisure, RNLI, Dartmoor Zoo, The Zone Plymouth and Invictus Trust.
Chair of the Student Union, Bradley Conway, said this year’s fresher’s fair was “the best ever.”
“There was such a good atmosphere, it was great to see so many students come and take part in the day.”
Level 3 Professional Cookery student, Amelia Burr, said there was a “real buzz around college, everyone got involved. I really enjoyed it”.
Student Liaison Officer, Ali Gerry, who organised the event said “we felt it was important to make the fresher’s fayre fun and exciting for the students and that’s why we tried to have as many active events as possible.”
“I would like to say a massive thank you to all the businesses that had a stall, they provided excellent advice and guidance for our students and gave away some brilliant freebies which went down very well. It was a fantastic day that the students really threw themselves into,” they added.
