A group of students from Cornwall College St Austell are setting up a Christmas pop up shop in White River Place to help sell a selection of gifts, for various charities. The students on the Foundation Learning Courses will be selling various festive items as well as holding an art & photography display, which will contain some of their work from the last 3 months.
Team Lead for Foundation Learning, Tracey Brereton, said: “This is a great opportunity for our students to enhance their employability skills, as well as show off their creative talents. The students have worked hard on their individual projects and we’re hoping for local support on the day”
The Christmas Fundraiser and exhibition will include stocking fillers, handmade Christmas cards and unique foodie gifts.
The pop up Christmas gift shop and Exhibition will be open from 10.30am – 3pm on 7th, 8th & 9th December in the Cornwall College Art and Design unit, which is next to the Halifax Bank at Whiteriver Place shopping centre.
